DISCUSSION... WARM AND DRY CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAYS UNDER A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE WEST COAST. THE ONLY EXCEPTION MAY BE THE NORTHERN SIERRA NEVADA WHERE A SLIGHT THREAT OF AFTERNOON SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS EXISTS FOR THE NEXT FEW AFTERNOONS. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO WARM THROUGH EARLY NEXT WEEK WITH DAYTIME HIGHS EXPECTED TO REACH 10 TO 15 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL. A SLIGHT COOLING TREND IS EXPECTED FOR THE SECOND HALF OF NEXT WEEK.
