A PERSISTENT UPPER-LEVEL TROUGH OVER THE REGION WILL RESULT IN MOSTLY DRY WEATHER AND BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES OVER INTERIOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA THROUGH SATURDAY...FOLLOWED BY A WARMING TREND WITH OCCASIONAL NORTHERLY WINDS SUNDAY AND INTO NEXT WEEK. THERE WILL BE A CHANCE OF SHOWERS OR THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS MAINLY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.
